Looking forward to the online launch of the ING Discerning Eye exhibition at 7pm on Thursday 19th November www.ingdeexhibition.org. Very pleased four of my drawings from the series I’m making within my flat are in the show.

As I was drawing ‘Arriving Home’ a huge wood pigeon clattered onto the roof just above me. Its dark form, glimpsed only briefly in my peripheral vision, became a pivotal part of the drawing, as if everything revolved around the bird’s sudden arrival.
